My sister Abby and my friend Mei are coming to visit Nepal! Above, you can see pictures of them from our time together in Japan this Christmas/New Year. I am so very excited, and everyone here is anticipating their arrival on February 28th. They will be helping with education, babysitting, household chores/cleaning, and doing some fun educational stuff after school with the kids. We are planning a science camp and arts camp, focusing on God’s creation and giving the kids more reasons why they can trust the Bible and not their textbooks when it comes to how God ordered and designed this beautiful world. Abby, the budding artist, will be quite helpful in getting the kids going with some artistic and creative projects, and Mei, a teacher, will be great at organizing and leading them. We are looking forward to a good time with them here.
Motorcycle/Motor scooter – I am in need of a new scooter/bike. Right now, I am looking at the market that is out there, and hoping to be able to buy something soon. I don’t have any vehicle of my own right now. It would be really helpful for my schedule, and to the church and ministry if I had some wheels to help take myself and take other people and things here and there. These days, I am walking everywhere, which is great exercise, but, sometimes it is a little bit impractical. A good bike, along with insurance and licence and everything, will cost around $2000. Please pray about the funding for that.
